Area college freshmen, sophomores and juniors are invited to enter the Advertising Federation of Northwest Pennsylvania’s 2009 Student Scholarship Competition. The competition not only gives you a chance to win scholarship money, but also allows you to network with industry professionals and build your resume.
Scholarships will be awarded in varying amounts to students who show a high potential, demonstrate a commitment to the field, and have a strong academic record. Students entering the competition must present portfolios of work to a panel of industry professionals on Saturday, April 4 at Mercyhurst College. The judges will pick winners that day, and the winners will be recognized at the AFNWPA Creative Spark Awards Dinner in September. Any scholarship money awarded will be applied to the 2009-2010 school year.
